Job Overview:
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist/Vet Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. This is a vital role in our practice, as you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns
- Check-in patients and update their records in the system
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist DVM during appointments as needed.
- Animal restraint
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with veterinary software systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
