T&B Fleet Services is a fleet maintenance and repair garage specializing in hi-rail installation located in Winnipeg Mb. We are looking for a punctual, dedicated and trustworthy Red Seal Mechanic.
Responsibilities, requirements, and benefits include:
- Perform minor and major repairs, service and up fit on all types of vehicles, including cars, light truck, medium and heavy trucks and truck trailers as well as mounted vehicle attachments such as cranes, hi-rail, gensets, and material handling equipment
- Knowledge of electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment and other vehicle repair tools to carry out repairs is an asset
- Record details on prescribed forms according to established procedures
- Perform duties in-shop, outside, and at field locations as required
- Execute other duties as assigned
- Willing to work on 1/2 ton up to 1 ton trucks with Hirail gear
- Able to work alone and source parts
- Hirail experience is preferred but not required
- Shift Monday to Friday 8-4:30 and possibly the odd weekend
- Competitive wages and benefits

- Current drivers abstract
- MOPIA certificate preferred, but not required
- Own tools are required
Working Conditions:
- Work in a combination of shop and outside environment at terminals and in the field in various types of weather conditions
- Variable shifts to accommodate vehicle availability may be required
- Prolonged stay away from home when performing fieldwork may be required
Please note: Work hours may occasionally vary based on work available.
