Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Cook specializing in Indian, particularly Hyderabadi Cuisine, to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Hyderabadi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Ensure all food is cooked to the highest quality standards and served promptly to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent food service experience
- Manage food handling procedures responsibly, including proper storage and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Assist in menu development by providing insights on traditional Hyderabadi cuisine and techniques
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant or kitchen settings, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine or Hyderabadi dishes
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food service operations, including serving guests and maintaining hygiene protocols
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality control and presentation of specialty dishes
