Job Description:
As a Skid Steer Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating skid steer to assist in various construction tasks, including grading, backfilling, slab on grade prep, sidewalks and commercial site preparation. You will work closely with other crew members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
•Operate skid steer equipment for tasks such as excavation, grading, grade tolerances within 1-2cm.
•Perform site preparation of sidewalk, aprons, concrete floor preparations, experiences in backfilling foundations, subgrade of parking lots and commercial properties.
•Conduct Daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition and perform basic maintenance as required.
•Adhere to all company safety guidelines and industry best practices while operating equipment.
•Work closely with construction team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
•Maintain a clean and organized work site.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience operating skid steer equipment in a construction environment.
- Valid Drivers license and transportation is required
•Strong understanding of skid steer operation, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
•Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Physically fit and able to perform tasks in varying weather conditions.
•Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and accuracy.
