Ready to love your job? Let's talk.
At Beam Orthodontics, we're on a mission to give people confidence, one smile at a time — and we're looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant who wants to be part of the fun while doing meaningful, hands-on clinical work.
If you love being busy, love making patients feel at ease, and get a little thrill every time a patient sees their new smile for the first time... we should talk.
Schedule: 3–4 days a week, with flexibility to make it work for your life.
What you'll actually be doing
- Assisting Dr. Paxon with the application, adjustment, and removal of orthodontic appliances
- Helping fit and maintain braces, retainers, and other orthodontic devices
- Keeping our tools, trays, and treatment areas prepped, organized, and spotlessly sterile
- Being right there chairside during procedures, keeping patients comfortable and appointments moving
- Teaching patients how to care for their braces and appliances (bonus points for making it fun)
- Keeping patient records accurate, organized, and up to date
What you bring
- Certification as a Dental Assistant
- An Orthodontic Module is a nice-to-have — no module yet? No problem, we'll help you get there after you're hired
- A genuine curiosity about orthodontics and a team-first attitude
- Sharp organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Great people skills — you know how to put a nervous patient at ease
- The ability to roll with a fast-paced, ever-changing clinic day and enjoy it
