About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Solar Lead Setter to help generate residential solar opportunities in the Sydney/CBRM area. This is a field-based role where you will speak with homeowners, introduce them to solar options, and book qualified appointments for our sales team.
This is a good fit for someone who is confident talking to people, comfortable working independently, and interested in sales, renewable energy, and performance-based income.
Responsibilities
- Canvass residential neighborhoods in Sydney and surrounding CBRM areas
- Speak with homeowners about solar energy opportunities
- Identify interested homeowners and collect basic lead information
- Book qualified appointments for the solar sales team
- Represent the company professionally while working in the field
- Track leads, conversations, and appointments clearly
- Follow company guidelines for lead quality and customer communication
Qualifications
- Prior sales, canvassing, customer service, or lead generation experience is preferred
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable, professional, and organized
- Interest in solar energy or home improvement is an asset
- Reliable transportation is preferred, as the role involves travelling within the CBRM/Sydney area
Compensation
This is an independent contractor, commission-based role. Compensation is paid at $0.10 per watt on qualified solar deals. Earnings vary based on performance, appointment volume, system size, and closed/approved projects.
Schedule
Flexible schedule. This role is best suited for someone who can work during high-opportunity canvassing times, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, coachable, and comfortable working in the field. Sales experience is preferred, but the right attitude and work ethic matter most.
Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
