About Us
At Padmashri Naturals, we make the Sewanti Ayurvedic Series, a line of ~60 herbal supplements and wellness products rooted in Ayurveda and built for the modern health-conscious shopper. We’re already on shelves, on Amazon, and in homes across Canada, and we’re growing fast. Now we want our products in a lot more stores, and that’s where you come in.
The Role
This is a hunter role, plain and simple. Your job is to get Sewanti onto store shelves. You’ll spend your days on the phone tracking down new wholesale prospects, pitching our line, and closing accounts, then keeping those relationships warm so they keep reordering. If you love the thrill of opening a new account and the satisfaction of a “yes,” you’ll thrive here. We’re serious about scaling, and we want someone just as serious about selling.
Start part-time, prove what you can do, and grow the role into full-time.
What You’ll Do
- Hunt for new wholesale prospects, retailers, clinics, distributors, and build your own list of targets worth chasing
- Pick up the phone (and follow up by email) to open new accounts and get Sewanti onto their shelves
- Win back past accounts that have gone quiet, reignite the relationship and the reorders
- Drive the full sales cycle yourself, pitch, samples, securing the listing, and onboarding new retail partners
- Keep your accounts coming back with proactive check-ins, reorders, and smart upsells
- Own your pipeline, track who you’ve called, who’s due for follow-up, and who’s next, without anyone chasing you
- Represent Sewanti in person at trade shows and industry events such as CHFA
Who You Are
- A proven outbound/B2B closer, ideally in the natural health products industry, or in wholesale, CPG, or food
- Someone who knows (or genuinely wants to learn) Ayurveda, herbal supplements, and the natural health products space
- A natural communicator, warm, confident, and persuasive on the phone and in writing
- Self-driven and organized, you plan your own days and chase your own targets without hand-holding
- Tenacious on follow-up, you keep every opportunity moving and never let one slip through the cracks
- Comfortable living in a CRM or a well-kept spreadsheet
Bonus Points If You Have
- A knack for social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Photoshop or Canva skills to design and tweak product labels and marketing material
- Existing contacts in the health food or wholesale retail world
How We’ll Measure Success
Simple: how many new wholesale clients you bring in, and how well you keep them engaged and reordering. Deliver, and the hours and the pay grow with you.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20/hour to start, plus performance-based incentives on new sales (negotiable for the right candidate), with room to grow as you prove yourself

The Details
- Type: Part-time, with a real path to full-time based on performance
- Hours: 20 to 24 hours/week
- Schedule: Flexible, with a preference for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Location: In-office at our Vancouver, BC office, with the potential to move to hybrid based on performance
