Licensed Electrician (309A) – Hiring Across Ottawa
We are currently seeking Licensed 309A Electricians for full-time, permanent, or contract positions across Ottawa.
This role focuses on new construction and commercial maintenance projects, including work in commercial buildings and greenhouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Install conduit systems (EMT, PVC, rigid)
- Pull, route, and terminate wiring for power and control systems
- Install and maintain lighting and control systems
- Install panels, switchgear, breakers, and safety components
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Code and safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades on-site
Requirements
- Valid 309A Electrical License (Ontario)
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Working at Heights (WAH), WHMIS, lift certifications, and related training considered an asset
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
- Availability for Emergency calls and afterhours calls.
