The Retail Floor Team Member is responsible for providing outstanding customer service as per company standards, working with a Point of Sale (POS) system, generating sales, merchandising and general upkeep of the store’s cleanliness and appearance. You will be customer obsessed individuals that thrives in a team-oriented work environment and have a passion for people. You will create a store culture that is participatory, positive. You will create the Talize Thrift Experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand and support Talize policies and procedures while maintaining Talize image and standards
Provide exceptional customer service
Perform all cash function including opening and closing of cash registers
Communicate up and down to ensure proper flow of information
Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Stocks shelves, racks, counters, or tables with merchandise
Maintain a clean and organized store by performing all cleaning functions
Ensure work areas and aisles are free of clutter
Great & Direct customers to the appropriate department for shopping
Work in a proficient and timely manner to reach daily assigned goals and tasks
Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
Ability to work retail shifts, including weekends, opening and closing shifts.
Ability to lift / Carry and reach heavy products, when necessary
Ability to go up and down ladders.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to bend/twist neck and back
