Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Intern to join our team at Galerie 203. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design, multimedia managing and digital content creation. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, especially through all art mediums, eager to learn about the art industry in Montreal, and interested in developing a diverse skill set within a collaborative environment.
French skills are an asset, but we welcome English-only applicants too
Duties
- Assist in editing and producing social media content using Affinity, Adobe Illustrator and Capcut.
- Support graphic design projects utilizing Affinity, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
- Contribute to photo editing and retouching tasks.
- Help create engaging visual content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Previous sales experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive training is provided.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative concepts and execute multimedia projects.

- Maintaining organized digital assets.
- Participate in meetings and provide input on project development and creative strategies.
Skills
- Proficiency or familiarity with using Affinity, Canva & Capcut are key.
- Prior experience with utilizing Adobe Creative Suite applications including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects would be a big benifit.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Photography skills will be an advantage.
- Active listening and strong communication skills are essential.
- Client relations and negotiation skills will be an advantage.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work in social media managing or relevant projects is preferred but not required. This internship offers valuable industry experience for aspiring multimedia professionals eager to enhance their technical skills and build a professional portfolio in a supportive setting.
