CRM Analyst, Retail Insights & Analytics

As the CRM Analyst, Retail Insights Analytics for a large retail chain, you will lead the charge on impactful and insightful analysis and customer business intelligence. You will use your natural curiosity and desire to discover the answers to key questions via customer and sales transaction level data analysis and drive and enable strategic business outcomes.

This role requires an individual with a passion and ability to analyze CRM system data in response to channel marketing initiatives, to query, synthesize and deliver actionable consumer insights that can drive marketing and business strategy and help lead to higher sales and profits.

You must be able to communicate confidently with executives, lead initiatives autonomously, and proactively take ownership of new opportunities.

CRM Campaign Management and Analysis

Provides multi-channel analysis of marketing campaigns including ROI reports and other KPIs.

Provides customer-specific statistical reports, as required.Prepares and distributes various daily, weekly and monthly CRM reports, as required.

Performs the maintenance and reporting of all loyalty programs and provides assistance when needed.

Works with the eCommerce team to setup marketing automation communications and manages all related dataflow required.

Generates customer profiling analysis, campaign lists and post campaign analysis in support of various marketing and other CRM initiatives.

Integrates existing analytical tools (segmentations, models, etc.) into analytical deliverables, analyzes and interprets/manipulates data (customer database CRM Aptos or other, 3rd party) from disparate sources, translates data findings and interpretation of business requirements into actionable information.

Develops and presents clear and comprehensive findings/recommendations to leadership on key initiatives.

Database Maintenance

Subject matter expert on the data sources contained in the customer database and how they can be leveraged to address business challenges and opportunities.

Ensure data capture is working effectively - verifies and processes that key data and customer information is flowing into the CRM system.

Ensures all internal processes related to CRM are running correctly.

Performs various database maintenance functions.

Analyzes and merges duplicate customer records.

Internal Customer Support

Assists in CRM-related IT projects.

Assists all other departments with CRM-related requests.

2 to 3 years of experience in consumer insights and/or analytics preferably within a retail environment.

2 to 3 years of experience working with a CRM database (e.g. Aptos or other) and developing and consulting on reports to management.

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms is an asset.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to embrace change

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingualism (French and English).

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
