Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls efficiently
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using Epic and Dentrix software systems
- Handle check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive medical information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and appointment reminders
- Support the clinic team with general office duties to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient information and appointments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy healthcare environment
- Prior experience with dental office operations or medical office administration is a plus
