- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies or lifestyle adjustments.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
