We are looking for an experienced Attic Insulation Labourer to join our residential retrofit team to support support insulation and weatherization projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in attic insulation work
- Strong knowledge of residential attic insulation installation
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
- Able to identify common attic conditions, ventilation requirements, and insulation issues
- Physically capable of lifting and handling insulation materials and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Fluent or strong working English preferred
- G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract
- Previous experience with air sealing, blown-in insulation equipment, and residential retrofit projects is an asset
- Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
- Comfotable working with cellulose and fibreglass materials
Standard Job Duties:
- Assist with insulating basement walls and attics, as well as interior draft-proofing around windows, door weatherstripping, and other applicable areas using appropriate insulation and sealing materials.
- Duties also include accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed
- Ability to work Monday to Friday (occasional weekends), start time as early as 8 am with flexible end times
Work Environment:
- Installers work in pairs on a variety of jobsites
- Standing, bending, lifting, and ladder use
- Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls
- Use of common handheld power tools
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
