We have built the best dealership, now we are building the best team. O'Neill Auto Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our dynamic team in Mount Pearl. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our metro dealerships.
Responsibilities
As a Custodian, you report to the Wash Bay Supervisor, and will perform in all areas including, but not limited to:
- Report maintenance repairs or building concerns to management
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and PPE
- Ensure safe use and operation of cleaning agents and equipment
- Exterior maintenance (garbage around buildings)
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors as required
- Cleaning washrooms, offices, lunchrooms and common areas
- Emptying garbage/ recycling containers
- Sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Cleaning office windows as required
- Replenishment of paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, etc.
- Support special event setup and teardown
- Ensuring all buildings are secure prior to leaving the dealership at the end of each shift
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Understand safe working practices
- Ability to work well with a team and able to follow instructions from Management
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Experience in a Custodian or similar role would be considered an asset
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and code of conduct
