Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly interactions, and efficient food and beverage delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, managing multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in a restaurant setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and upselling techniques
Pay: $17.60 per hour
