Reporting to the Operations Manager Senior Field Supervisor, a Field Supervisor plays as integral role to Royal Camp Services Ltd. by ensuring our clients are delivered the highest level of camp catering services.
As a Field Supervisor you will
- Visit remote camp locations across Western Canada to ensure premium levels of customer service are being delivered to our clients
- Use key performance indicators to complete quality assurance/quality control of operations
- Provide supervision, assistance, training, and direction to field staff regarding all matters of camp operations including but not limited to quality of meal offerings, cleanliness standards, personnel issues, and administration of paperwork
- Execute, measure, and monitor Royal Camp Services Food Safe Program to ensure remote camp locations are following and exceeding regulated guidelines
- Assist in managing field staff schedules to maximize skill usages while factoring in labor costs
- Supervise start up and shut down of camp operations
- Liaison with prime contractor representatives
- Participate in regularly scheduled KPI meetings with client representatives
- Be required to perform any and all duties in overall operations in temporary emergency situations
- Create and review field reports and perform internal audits for senior management review
- Assist in organizing and executing select corporate catering events
- Any other duties as required by the Operations Manager
Requirements
- At least 5 years of management experience in a hospitality or culinary field required
- Red Seal endorsement or Business Administration / Management education an asset
- This is a field based position which requires the ability to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time
- Remote site expertise is an asset
- A valid class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract required
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrable computer skills
- A Standard First Aid certificate required
- An Alberta Health Services recognized Advance Food Safety certification required
- Other relevant safety tickets such as CSTS, NCSO, and TDG are considered an asset
