Exact Landscapes is hiring a Pool Install Technician to support our pool construction team through the build season, with a transition into snow operations during the winter.
We design, build, and maintain luxury outdoor environments in Ottawa, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, strong pace, professionalism on site, and getting the details right.
What you’ll do:
- Support pool installation projects from site prep through final build stages
- Assist with excavation, base prep, material handling, grading, and site organization
- Help install pool components, equipment, fittings, and surrounding features as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite
- Protect client property and represent Exact professionally on site
- Spot issues early and communicate clearly with the crew lead
- Support final detailing and jobsite cleanup so projects finish strong
Winter snow transition
When pool construction season slows down, this role transitions into our snow team. Winter responsibilities may include:
- Sidewalk clearing
- Shoveling and snow blowing
- De-icing and salt application
- Pre-storm load-out and post-storm cleanup
- Responding to on-call snow events including nights, early mornings, and weekends
What we’re looking for:
- 1 to 3+ years of pool install, landscape construction, or related outdoor construction experience
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in changing weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, good attitude, and attention to detail
- Reliable, coachable, and able to work well with a crew
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to be on call for snow events in winter
Assets
- Experience with excavation, grading, hardscape, plumbing support, or equipment installation
- Experience operating skid steer, mini excavator, plate compactor, or similar equipment
- Previous snow removal experience
- First Aid/CPR
