National Marketing Specialist – Employer Brand

The opportunity

Are you looking to grow and be part of something new and exciting? We’re looking for a passionate Marketing Specialist who will help to elevate our Canadian Employer Brand. . We’re looking for someone who can tell the EY story through new and innovative strategies and tactics while being part of the larger Brand, Marketing & Communications team at EY. Our team has an important responsibility to boost visibility and perceptions internally and externally by finding stories and showcasing the best of the firm, from our values, people and culture to key initiatives around diversity and inclusiveness, recruitment programs and people engagement priorities, while rallying our employees to participate as brand ambassadors.

This role is equal parts vision-building and execution, storytelling and engagement to connect with the hearts and minds of audiences. We're looking for a Marketing Specialist, who is an enthusiast and trendsetter with a passion for people and culture, and end-to-end experience with omnichannel marketing campaigns from concept to delivery to showcase the best of EY and be a vocal champion of our employer brand programs. Your key responsibilities:
Planning, managing and executing omnichannel employer brand campaigns to support talent and recruitment, culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and other major initiatives
Building content strategies and implementing them to maximize visibility and impact, while identifying clear objectives and measurable KPIs that support the overarching brand strategy
Managing agencies, developing and delivering creative briefs, and guiding the creative review and approval process to meet requirements with on-time, on-budget delivery and ongoing measurement
Proactively liaising with Global and Americas teams to understand and identify relevant employer brand programs and content that can be leveraged for the Canadian market Collaborating with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Talent stakeholders as part of campaign concept ideation, activation and approvals
Teaming with channel teams such as PR, Communications, Digital and Social Media teams to activate messages and campaigns, including implementing paid, organic and employee advocacy strategies to deliver best-in-class, relevant content to highly targeted audiences

Skills and attributes for success

A strategic and growth mindset focused on initiating new ideas to elevate the EY employer brand
Ability to create, package and distribute thought leadership content in various formats across channels, using best practices, new strategies and actionable insights
Strong teaming and collaboration with internal teams and firm leaders to activate content and campaigns, including follow-ups and results showcases
Data-driven with a clear focus on impact, quality and engagement
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to navigate new uncharted territory
A passion for building from the ground-up, problem-solving, ideation and innovation
Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail
Strong relationship-builder with a cross-functional teaming mindset and proactive stakeholder management across the team, firm and external vendors/agencies
Equal parts strategic and tactical with a challenger mindset and a passion for overcoming the status quo

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications or social media
4+ years of professional brand marketing experience; agency or client experience – B2B experience preferred
Proven experience creating high-quality omnichannel campaigns, involving end-to-end development, including development and delivery of the creative briefs and managing the creative approval process

Ideally you will also have

Experience with copy writing and editing
Experience implementing brand campaigns on digital and social channels,
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and able to multitask and manage a variety of different projects with critical deadlines
