About the role
Selkirk Sport is continuing to grow across Canada, and we’re looking for a bilingual English/French Account Manager to help strengthen and expand our Canadian wholesale business.
This role will own relationships with existing Canadian retail partners while actively developing new business throughout the country. You’ll be joining at an exciting time as Selkirk continues investing in its Canadian operations, including expanded domestic fulfillment capabilities.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, prospecting for new business, and taking ownership of a growing territory.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with Selkirk’s existing Canadian wholesale accounts.

Prospect for and develop new retail and wholesale partnerships across Canada.

Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand Selkirk’s presence within existing accounts.

Build relationships with retailers through phone, email, virtual meetings, and consistent follow-up.

Develop a strong understanding of the Canadian pickleball market, including regional trends, tournaments, seasonal demand, and customer needs.

Help accounts navigate ordering, shipping, product availability, and other sales-related questions.

Understand Canadian-specific considerations such as GST/HST, duties, brokerage, currency differences, and cross-border logistics.

Partner with internal teams as Selkirk expands its Canadian distribution and fulfillment capabilities.

Track account activity, sales opportunities, and performance against established goals.

Provide a high level of service while proactively identifying opportunities for continued account growth.
Qualifications

Fluent in both English and French.

Approximately 3–5 years of sales, account management, inside sales, or related experience.

Experience developing and maintaining B2B customer relationships.

Comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations with new potential customers.

Demonstrated ability to work toward sales targets, quotas, or other measurable performance goals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities.

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Comfortable using Google Workspace and learning new sales and technology platforms.

Strong understanding of the Canadian market and regional differences.

Experience in sporting goods, pickleball, retail, wholesale, or consumer products.

Experience supporting Canadian retailers or B2B customers.

Familiarity with Canadian shipping, brokerage, GST/HST, duties, and cross-border logistics.

Knowledge of the Canadian pickleball community, including clubs, tournaments, and regional markets.

A track record of meeting or exceeding measurable sales goals.
CAD $36,000–$55,000 annually, plus commissions
Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
