YOUR ROLE:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Video Editor Assistant. This is a great opportunity for an individual with expert knowledge of video editing high value productions.The Video Editor will be collaborating with the remote freelance and in-house team of Editors, Directors and Producers in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with adult entertainment content.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ingest and organize assigned 4K raw footage and video assets.
- Create project files for a team of editors per post-production guidelines in a timely manner within various programs, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Sync all footage and audio assets.
- Work closely with the Post Production Manager and Lead Editor to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in any editing capacity as needed, including but not limited to motion graphics work and audio editing.
- Collaborate with Lead Editor for special projects and to improve departmental workflows.
- Quality control check before and after final exports are completed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues within Premiere Pro and other various softwares.
- Encode and export finalized projects according to specs.
YOU:
- At least 3 years of experience video editing within Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Davinci Resolve Pro a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Used to working in a fast paced environment.
