We are Btrust. Since 2008, we’ve innovated the Canadian grocery retail experience specializing to sell primarily fresh and healthy foods. Our goal is to introduce diverse food culture to every family table. We offer a wide range of products to cater to various taste preferences and budgets. The company is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario. In 2008, we opened our first Btrust Supermarket at the Golden Square, a shopping center in Mississauga, Ontario. Today, we manage a nationwide chain of 4 stores, covering an impressive 120,000 square feet and offering more than 20,000 different products, allowing families across Canada to enjoy fresh, healthy, and flavorful meals.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain product quality and inventory control.
2. Ensure merchandise is correctly placed, displayed, and priced according to price lists, and marked with stamps or labels.
3. Inspect display cases and shelves to ensure there are no broken containers, thawed food, or expired goods.
4. Greet customers warmly, offer assistance, and recommend suitable products based on their needs.
5. Be familiar with the location of all displayed merchandise and maintain the cleanliness of the inventory and display areas.
6. Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures, government regulations, health and safety regulations, and food safety regulations.
7. Responsibilities may also be adjusted according to operational requirements and the instructions of the direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent customer service skills and a strong team spirit.
2. Ability to stand for long periods and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
3. Frequently requires manual handling, touching, or feeling, and reaching for items.
4. Frequently requires lifting items weighing 10-50 pounds.
5. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, or crawling; occasionally requires climbing or maintaining balance.
6. Punctual and punctual, fully complying with company policies and regulations, demonstrating strong work ethic and integrity.
7. Responsible, trustworthy, and possessing a proactive and self-motivated work attitude.
8. Must be able to adapt to flexible shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
