The Pricing Analytics Coordinator is part of Bacardi's Commercial Performance & Insights (CP&I) department. The purpose of the CP&I team, which reports into the Finance function, is to act as the corporate Commercial lead for planning, reporting, performance, and ongoing business routines, as well as stewardship of central analytics, Revenue Growth Management, and insight generation for Bacardi Canada’s business.
The role is located in Toronto, Ontario and reports to the Senior Manager – Commercial Performance & Insights. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that is inquisitive, has a high attention to detail, and possesses strong analytical capabilities. This role also requires strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally across many levels within an organization.
What this role does now:
Manages the structure and integrity of Bacardi Canada’s pricing tool, which involves monitoring developments in government liquor board retail pricing guidelines, and related legislative changes which impact elements within those guidelines, and then updating our systems accordingly. This allows us to ensure that pricing architecture is accurately reflected in Bacardi Canada’s pricing tool to competitively optimize selling prices. This role will have a national view to pricing across different markets and Bacardi brands. The Pricing Analytics Coordinator will work with various teams to review pricing conditions in the market and provide key analysis of product pricing vs business plan and competitors.

Manage the structure and integrity of the Bacardi Canada pricing tool using the liquor board pricing markup guidelines so that the architecture in the tool – used for internal analysis to maintain the most profitable price points – is accurate and up to date
Maintain and communicate pricing reports that are available in the Bacardi Canada pricing tool
Act as the key contact between Bacardi Canada and the liquor board pricing departments
Submit price changes to liquor board price departments across Canada adhering to the deadlines communicated by the liquor boards
Supply pricing on a monthly basis to our Financial Planning & Analytics team for the purposes of producing a budget / update forecast
Provide analysis of product pricing versus business plan and competitors to assist in understanding key drivers of revenue
Work with various teams to review pricing conditions in the markets across Canada to maximize revenue across the portfolio
Communicate analysis of current pricing vs. aligned to pricing brand strategies in Canada.
Assist with the setup and calculation of internal transfer prices on new and existing brands
Complete the annual renewal of our NAFTA and CETA certificates with Global teams
Work with the Global pricing team to reconcile revenue from cash collected to what we have invoiced to reduce our aged Accounts Receivable

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have/be:

The following experiences are preferred:
Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Experience with planning/reporting/forecasting processes and tools
Exposure/experience to statistical modelling methods and approaches would be an asset but not required
Experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry or a large CPG company would be a plus
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, and/or analytics
