Muskoka Event Services is one of Central Ontario's fastest-growing event infrastructure companies. We build everything from luxury weddings and festivals to corporate events, sporting events, and large-scale productions.
We're looking for an Event Carpenter / Event Build Technician to join our team for an initial 2-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Install event flooring and subfloors
- Build custom stages, platforms, ramps and event structures
- Fabricate custom event installations and scenic pieces
- Repair tents, staging, flooring and rental equipment
- Complete shop improvements and custom fabrication projects
- Build shelving, storage systems and workspace upgrades
- Load and prepare equipment for events
- Assist with event installations across Ontario
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Carpentry, construction or related trade experience
- Comfortable using power tools and woodworking equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Able to work independently and solve problems
- Valid G driver's licence
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable, punctual and professional
