About Us
We are a busy and friendly Korean restaurant in Kamloops, known for our delicious food and excellent customer service. We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team. Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Schedule: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Handle food safely and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen staff with daily operations and food service
- Ensure ingredients and supplies are properly stocked and organized
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to help maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service
Requirements
- No experience required; kitchen experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
