Kyle Demelo Construction Ltd. (KD Construction) is a growing civil construction company specializing in underground utilities, municipal infrastructure, commercial and site development projects throughout the Central Okanagan.
We are currently seeking Experienced Pipelayers and Construction Labourers to join our team. If you are motivated, dependable, and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
Pipelayers Responsibilities
- Install watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and utility infrastructure.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, grade stakes, and specifications.
- Set and maintain proper pipe line and grade.
- Work safely in trenches and around heavy equipment.
- Assist with testing, inspections, and project completion activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of previous civil construction experience.
- Strong understanding of MMCD
- Ability to work effectively with operators, labourers, and supervisors.
- Knowledge of trench safety requirements and safe work procedures.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Valid Basic First Aid and SiteReady BC Certificate
Experienced Construction Labourers Responsibilities
- Support pipelaying and underground utility crews.
- Perform grading, compaction, material handling, and site preparation.
- Install utility services and assist with road and infrastructure construction.
- Operate small equipment and power tools as required.
- Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous civil construction or underground utility experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to project sites.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Valid Basic First Aid and SiteReady BC Certificate
