Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, concrete work, and heavy equipment operation, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related masonry work with precision
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components according to project specifications
- Conduct restoration work including repairing or replacing damaged structures
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry projects
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met with quality workmanship
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete finishing.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, grinding equipment, and heavy machinery is essential
- Knowledge of concrete forming, siding installation, restoration techniques, and woodworking is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment confidently
- Prior experience working on residential or commercial construction sites is advantageous
