Overall Responsibilities:
- Operate Dozer as it applies to ditching, sloping, support clean-up in excavations and embankments, ripping, etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes
- Conduct a pre-operational equipment inspection checklist before operating
- Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Thompson Bros. (Constr.) LP safe work practices, policies and procedures
- Report all incidents, near-misses, and damage of the equipment to site supervision
- Ability to identify hazards
- Must be dependable and reliable
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of similar work experience is required
- Applicants must be 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) Regional Orientation / OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO) or Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Ground Disturbance, H2S, and First-Aid is an asset
