Join our dynamic team as a Resort Runner/Night Maintenance professional, where your energy and dedication will keep our resort running smoothly around the clock! In this vital role, you will serve as a friendly point of contact for guests and staff during evening hours, ensuring exceptional guest services and seamless operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain the resort’s safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction while supporting various maintenance and guest needs during the evening shift. Qualifications
- Deliver amenities and requested items to guest rooms promptly and courteously
- Respond to and resolve minor plumbing issues, including clogged toilets and sinks
- Perform minor repairs to doors, windows, and other guest room fixtures
- Deliver fresh linens and assist with bed-making upon guest request
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor heating, air conditioning, and plumbing issues
- Support Restaurant Staff with tasks as needed
- Assist guests with luggage upon request
- Deliver replacement room keys and repair key card scanners when necessary
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to provide support as needed
- Sweep and maintain cleanliness of common outdoor areas, removing debris and pests
- Deliver requested items to rooms (ex. ironing boards, baby playpens, and twin cots)
- Collect and empty trash bins, disposing of waste in designated areas
- Assist Porters with group and event setup/tear down
- Duties are subject to change daily
Requirements
- Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work and possess a valid driver's license. Previous experience in general maintenance, heating and cooling (HVAC), and basic plumbing is required.
- The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and has a strong understanding of general building repairs and preventative maintenance. Experience troubleshooting and completing minor repairs independently is considered a strong asset.
- We're looking for a reliable, punctual team player with excellent attendance and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service skills are essential, as you'll be interacting with guests professionally and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. You must be able to communicate effectively, follow directions from the front desk team, and work together to resolve guest requests and day-to-day operational issues efficiently.
