At Hospice North Hastings, we believe every person deserves comfort, dignity, and compassionate end-of-life care. We are seeking a Full-Time and Casual Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. Registered Nurses (RNs) are preferred; however, Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) with relevant experience and a passion for palliative care are encouraged to apply.
At our four-bed hospice residence, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while providing individualized, holistic care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered palliative and end-of-life nursing care.
- Complete assessments, develop care plans, and manage pain and symptoms.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support and educate patients and families throughout their hospice journey.
- Collaborate with physicians, PSWs, volunteers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in our community Medical Equipment Lending Program.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in hospice, palliative care, home care, long-term care, or community nursing is an asset

Pay: $32.00-$34.64 per hour
