Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Detailer to join our team for the rest of the boating season from June 1st to December 1st, with the opportunity to return the following season from March 1st to December 1st. Employees are laid off during the winter months and welcomed back the following March, making this an ideal position for individuals looking to work 9–10 months of the year while having the winter available for travel or time off.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to learn, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and enjoys working outdoors in the sun. Experience in boat detailing or a related field is an asset, along with a strong focus on cleanliness, precision, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Use polishing tools and compounds to restore and protect boat exteriors to a high-gloss finish
- Perform detailed interior cleanings, including vacuuming, scrubbing, and conditioning all surfaces to meet company standards
- Complete repetitive detailing tasks with consistency, efficiency, and attention to fine details
Skills
- Experience using polishing tools and detailing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow a step-by-step process for interior and exterior boat cleaning
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with clients
- Availability to return for future boating seasons
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
