The Senior Associate role is part of the Talent Shared Services team within Canada. Reporting to the HR Systems Project Lead, the Senior Associate role will provide support towards the deployment of the SuccessFactors Core HR program within Canada. Working closely with other Canadian SMRs, global project members, and internal stakeholders (i.e. Finance, Legal, IT, Talent, etc.), the Senior Associate will be involved in various project activities including UAT, data conversion, process review, training, change management and communications. The Senior Associate will be familiar with Canadian and Global applications, interfaces, HR business processes, reporting, and capable of performing complex analysis. When required, this role will provide support to local operations.
Your key responsibilities
Lead and/or actively participate on key Canada HR initiatives for projects (i.e. develop system specifications/documentation, manage UAT activities, create testing plans, participate in system testing, monitor interfaces, data conversion validation and testing, etc.)
Support process review and change management activities by developing or reviewing work instructions, editing L5 processes, and reviewing training material
Provide project management coordination (i.e. agendas, minutes, stats) when necessary
Proactively identify and address project risks and opportunities
Independently lead small to medium projects
Help drive and ensure ongoing project excellence, quality and timely data, through research, analysis,
HR Systems Operations:
Periodically supports operations (including HR reporting) by potentially overseeing a process through coordination and aid during high peak operational periods. Liaises with appropriate Talent, Q&RM, IT, and/or Finance as needed.
Periodically supports custom Canadian HR Applications by acting as a liaison between the business and IT - develop system specifications/documentation, create testing plans, participate in system testing, monitor interfaces. Will help define defines how system changes will impact the business process and other related processes/systems.

Solid understanding of EY HR technologies, business processes and dependencies, and the ability to identify and leverage internal resources
Ability to pull together data from a variety of sources and conduct high level analysis and recommendations for complex issues

High level of customer service and relationship management skills

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5 or more years of HR and systems (PeopleSoft) experience or equivalent; working towards CHRP or equivalent HR certification
