We are a family flooring company since 1995 serving the greater Ottawa area. We provide full service flooring needs to commercial and residential clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 5 ton truck in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario valley to deliver flooring materials
- Must provide a clean drivers abstract to be considered
- Deliver approximately 2 - 3 deliveries per day (heavy lifting of boxes up to 50lbs/box)
- Deliver boxes or carpets to clients home or business in an orderly fashion
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming transport and stack them to assigned places
- Ability to drive a forklift to unload skids and carpets from transport or relocate them in the warehouse
- Cut carpet and prepare orders for installations
- Pick-up/deliver materials to/from suppliers to job sites
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities - loading dock and show room
- General janitorial duties
Skills
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail
- Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision
- Excellent physical condition and coordination (able to lift up to 50lbs)
- High school diploma
- Valid "G' license
- Criminal record check
Salary: $21.00 per hour to start
