Job Type: Full-time

Work schedule:Rotating shifts:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday
12:00 PM – 8:30pm Saturday
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and inspection, of all facility maintenance and related services associated within the assigned contract. Specific responsibilities for the maintenance supervisor will be determined by client expectations and at the discretion of the client Facilities Manager.
Job Description

General Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the client’s Facilities Manager.
Assists to administer and direct programs to maintain buildings, and equipment.
Allocates maintenance personnel and material resources to various tasks.
Requires frequent communication with other maintenance employees, vendors, and other departments.
Able to work from construction drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, shop drawings and verbal/written directions.

Specific Responsibilities:

Supervises the FM team consisting of 3 Building Technicians and sub-contractors as needed.
Responsible for staff matters pertaining to procedure compliance, training, attendance and attitude
Complete and reports on Work orders, CMMS issues and do spot checks of equipment and working trades.
Assist in implementing quality control programs and work schedules to promote operational efficiency.
Adhere to all H&S SOP’s and policies.
Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and ensure all staff are kept fully trained in H&S and up-to-date.

Reviews all records pertinent to maintenance operations for completion.
Reviews associated manuals to include maintenance operation and personnel regulations.
Directs applicable tradesmen and team in daily operations.
Review daily time sheets for maintenance employees for timeliness and accuracy.
Assists In setting priorities, establish goals.
Frequently inspects buildings to ensure that completed work orders are correct and the preventive maintenance program are consistent with client expectations and C&W Services standards.
Through scheduled and impromptu meetings, coordinates the activities of various tradespersons and maintenance teams.
Supervises and directs outside contracted services.
Other duties as required by FM Management.
Reviews and makes sure that all trades are following Company SOP policies.

Experience and Qualifications:
HVAC, Building Operator, Power Engineer or other building trade license or certification.
Three (3) years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in commercial setting; experience in hospital strongly preferred.
Possess a strong understanding and demonstration of building systems and maintenance
Demonstrate understanding of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
Able to program BAS, use Microsoft Outlook and other computer programs as required.
Able to work and attend on site issues when needed 24/7
Good understanding and training of Ontario’s Health & Safety laws.
