The Roma Fence Group of Companies is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to add to its team.
The Human Resources Manager will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection, On-boarding, Healthy & Safety, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Training.
As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible to:
- Partner with management and employees to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, legislations and regulations
- Respond to employee relation issues
- Partner with management in full cycle recruitment & selection initiatives
- Handle employee orientation program
- Process payrolls for hourly and salaried employees
- Administer company group benefits program
- Participate in all the health & safety initiatives including WSIB claims management and WSIB Excellence Program
- Arrange and administer training for employees
- Manage employee records & files
- Perform Human Resources administrative duties
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce payroll software is considered an asset
- 2 - 4 years of experience as Human Resources Generalist
- Prior experience in manufacturing and construction industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Human Resources Management certificate required
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, health and safety regulations
- Up to date with current human resources trends
- strong communications skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate on all levels in the organization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with Ceridian Powerpay is an asset
- Self-directed, well organized and proactive

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
