Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew of maintenance staff to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely
- Execute garden care projects including planting, pruning, mulching.
- Monitor plant health and diagnose horticultural issues, applying best practices in gardening and horticulture
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while maintaining high-quality standards
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on landscape techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in gardening, landscaping or horticulture environments
- Strong knowledge landscape maintenance practices, and horticultural principles
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Familiarity with gardening tools, equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Prior experience in supervising outdoor crews or managing landscape projects is highly desirable
