General Overview:
Nerva Energy Group, located in Hamilton, Ontario, is looking for a full-time HVAC, controls, Field Operations Site Supervisor to join our growing company.

As the HVAC Supervisor, you will have a proven track record of leading 15+ employees to ensure project quality and client satisfaction, with proven experience in controls, building automation, and electrical wiring. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to liaise with the technicians & installation teams, clients, and management on a daily basis to ensure successful project execution. You will be responsible for serving Nerva’s clients by organizing the execution of installing and servicing systems and technologies, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
· Educate technicians on HVAC controls, building automation, and electrical wiring, both in the office and in the field. Provide guidance and supervision on installations and troubleshooting.
· Perform site visits to projects sites regularly for quality assurance, troubleshooting assistance and commissioning – flexibility and travel required
· Track and manage reporting of technicians
· Manage employee relations, both recognition and progressive discipline
· Ensure employee training goals and programs are maintained
· Ensure employees follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, ESA, TSSA, Building Code, and other applicable regulations
· Understand project scopes, goals and deliverables
· Suggest and implement changes when necessary to meet project outputs
· Ensure project data is properly collected and recorded
· Consolidate and report data to engineering team for client reports
· Monitor supply inventory and reorder as required
· Track tools and equipment and schedule maintenance as necessary
· Keep all client information confidential
Education & Experience:
· Experience in commercial and/or industrial buildings (minimum 5 years)
· Experience with electrical and HVAC systems (minimum 5 years)
· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
· Project management experience will be considered an asset

Compensation:
In the range of $35 to $40 an hour depending on experience. Overtime after working 44 hours per week. Premium paid on out-of-town project hours and extra shift work.
