Summit Veterinary Pharmacy is currently looking for a Marketing Assistant, Summer Student to fill one full-time (11 weeks) vacancy in our Business Development & Marketing Department.
Located in Aurora, Ontario, Summit has been supplying prescription compounded medications to veterinary clinics across Canada for over 20 years. Our mission is to set the standard for excellence in veterinary compounding; enabling veterinarians to fulfill their commitment to their clients' health and well-being.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Design and translate (outsourced) marketing tools. Including but not limited to: stationary, business cards, print advertisements, forms, e-blasts, online advertisements, newsletters, and handouts.
- Design and translate (outsourced) pharmacy tools. Including but not limited to: product packaging, product labelling, invoices, statements, stationary, and forms.
- Provide support during the approval process for print and online tools.
- Work with designated printing companies to facilitate the printing of materials as necessary.
- Generate, develop and implement marketing ideas, including but not limited to, print, web and social media mediums.
- Generate images needed for ScribeRx, the CRM, Summit’s website and other tools when necessary.
- Load images, content, descriptions, and other pieces of information relative to ScribeRx.
- Assist with writing or sourcing copy for printed and online tools.
- Collect analytics to measure effectiveness of marketing materials and promotions.
- Support for tradeshows, conferences and other events including but not limited to filling applications, ordering equipment, organizing promotional materials, designing support materials as needed (ex. signs for prize draws).
- Design and/or produce tradeshow promotional tools – signs, graphics, videos. Work within approved social media channels and develop brand awareness through social media.
- General support for the Business Development team. Assist with other, yet undetermined project within the Business Development department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent English linguistic skills (French is an asset)
- Intermediate Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign Skills
- HTML (asset)

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Hour of Work
- 8:30AM- 4:00PM (subject to change)
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
