Logika Technologies is a fast-growing technology company serving a global market. In business for over 14 years, we design and manufacture a wide range of non-contact optical sensors, cameras, and image processing systems designed to function flawlessly in extreme industrial environments.
We are currently looking for an Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering, or technology discipline, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Experience working in the Steel, Oil & Gas, or Pulp & Paper industry would be considered an asset.

- Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment with limited supervision

Key functions:
- Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions by working with the Engineering Department to create proposals
- Provide technical support directly to customers on the products and their applications Participate in sales presentations to customers
- Provide internal technical support to Production and Sales & Marketing
- Perform system level design work for complex custom orders
- Participate in market / competitive product research and reporting activities
- Provide input and occasionally participate in new product development activities, as well as design maintenance on existing product lines
- Identify product improvements, or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, benchmarking state of the art practices; participating in professional societies
- Occasionally participate in field service work or onsite technical support for sales (on average 3-5 days per month)
- Occasionally participate in Trade shows
