Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use according to Brand Standards
- Inspect work areas regularly to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and custodial supplies
- Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational needs while optimizing productivity
- Address guest inquiries related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks or coordinate repairs using appropriate tools and techniques
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service among staff members
Skills
- Must have previous experience managing a unionized workforce
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interaction
- Demonstrated experience in custodial work or facilities management within a hospitality setting
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment
- Ability to perform guest room and public area inspections
- Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests or residents
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and facility operations
Pay: $58,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
