Our boutique clinic in Calgary offers a warm and welcoming space where clients can, with the support of a compassionate and experienced team, work through challenges related to relationships, trauma, and all mental health conditions.
We are currently seeking Fully Registered Psychologists to join our growing practice on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values autonomy, flexibility, and the support of a collegial team environment.
Role Overview
As a Contract provider, depending on your scope and preferences, you will work with a caseload that reflects your expertise and clinical interests, while benefiting from team support. Our work includes providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and teens and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments, first appointment bookings and ongoing psychotherapy with clients.
- Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in occasional team case consults and peer support meetings.
- Maintain professional registration and liability insurance.
- Collaborate with our admin team to ensure smooth scheduling, pay, and billing.
Qualifications:
Registered Psychologist in Alberta in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
-Ability to practice independently without ongoing supervision requirements.
- Note: We are currently seeking a fully registered psychologist. Currently, we are unable to accommodate provisional psychologists or candidates requiring supervision toward registration.
- Master’s/PsyD or degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field, RMFT considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 -3 years of clinical experience (more preferred).
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Must carry professional liability insurance
Clinical Approach
We welcome therapists from a variety of therapeutic orientations and value diversity in clinical approaches. Clinicians are encouraged to bring their unique skills, experience, and theoretical perspectives to their work.
As our practice has a strong focus on relationship counselling and trauma therapy, training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 and/or Level 2) and/or EMDR Therapy will be considered a significant asset.
