About Us
Tut's Egyptian Street Food is a fast-growing quick-service concept bringing bold, authentic Egyptian flavors to the neighborhood. We're expanding and looking to bring on two experienced Line Cooks who take pride in consistency, speed, and quality — and who want to grow with us as we scale.
Who We're Looking For
We need cooks who already know their way around a fast-paced line and are ready to hit the ground running. You should be comfortable working under pressure during rushes, have a sharp eye for consistency and presentation, and take ownership of your station without needing to be micromanaged. Experience with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is a big plus, but not required — what matters most is that you're a skilled, reliable cook who's ready to level up in a kitchen that's growing fast.
What You'll Do
Line & Prep
- Run your station independently: set up, stock, and break down efficiently before and after shifts
- Cook and plate menu items to recipe and presentation standards, consistently and at speed
- Check every dish for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before it goes out
- Keep ticket times fast and orders accurate while being mindful of special requests (allergies, modifications) on tickets
Kitchen Standards
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage protocols at all times
- Keep your station and shared equipment clean and organized per schedule
- Maintain proper labeling, rotation, and storage of all ingredients
Team & Growth
- Help train and mentor newer kitchen staff as needed
- Contribute ideas on efficiency, prep, and menu execution — we want cooks who care about getting better, not just clocking in
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen (QSR, fast-casual, or restaurant)
- Proven ability to work multiple stations and manage ticket times during a rush
- Food Handler's Certification required
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stay composed under pressure

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
