Summary
We are seeking multiple detail-oriented Truck Dispatchers to join our team in Canada. Based in, this role is vital for coordinating our fleet operations and ensuring seamless communication between drivers and clients. Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, and optimize daily loads and routes using TruckMate.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor driver logs and hours of service (HOS) for compliance.
- Troubleshoot transit issues and coordinate recovery for delayed loads.
- Collaborate with CSRs to ensure customer requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck dispatching or transportation coordination.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TruckMate) and freight operations.
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills.
- Ability to multitask using multi-line phone systems and data entry tools.
- Analytical skills to assess routes and schedules for efficiency.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures.
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations within the transportation industry is a plus.
