We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server / Waitress to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) ensuring timely and correct delivery.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and timely service for all guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality principles,
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations.
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and food preparation basics.
