Skilled General Labourers
About Our Client
We are currently hiring Skilled General Labourers for our client that manufactures high-quality metal outdoor structures such as pergolas and patio shelters. If you have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, especially if its in a metal, carpentry or assembly environment, please apply. This is an ongoing position, with no end date - permanent for the right candidate!
What You Will Be Doing, as a Skilled General Labourer:
- Perform detail sanding using handheld sanders
- Measure, cut, and assemble metal components to build pergolas, shades, and outdoor structures for patios, rooftops, and terraces
- Read and interpret blueprints or assembly drawings to ensure accuracy
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment or installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What You Should Have, as a Skilled General Labourer:
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read measurements accurately
- GREAT communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in metal fabrication, carpentry, or assembly is an asset
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $19.00 + per hour depending on experience and role
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday's off every week
