Position: R&D and Formulations Associate
NutraLab Canada Corporation is one of Canada’s premier contract manufacturers of natural health supplements. We are looking for an R&D and Formulations Associate to join our Research and Development team. The R&D and Formulations Associate will support the development, optimization, and documentation of natural health product formulations in all dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, softgels, powders, liquids, and gummies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about science, innovation, and the natural health industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research, formulation, and development of new natural health products.
- Conduct literature reviews, ingredient research, and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare and test prototypes, including physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations.
- Document R&D work according to regulatory and internal standards.
- Support stability studies and product improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in natural health products, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food science.
- Strong understanding of raw ingredients, formulation principles, and lab practices.
- Excellent documentation, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
