Role Overview
We are looking for a hardworking, friendly individual to join our team in Naughton. As the face of our shop, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every customer walks out with exactly what they need while keeping our shelves organized and fully stocked. Whether you’re helping a neighbor find the right tool or unloading a new shipment, your goal is to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Inventory Management: Unload deliveries, check packing slips for accuracy, and ensure all items are priced and displayed correctly.
- Merchandising: Keep the sales floor looking sharp. This includes "fronting" products, organizing displays, and ensuring aisles are clear and safe.
- Transaction Handling: Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges with a smile.
- Maintenance: Help keep the store clean and organized, both on the floor and in the back storage areas.
Qualifications
- People First: You enjoy chatting with locals and have a "how can I help?" attitude.
- Physically Active: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Detail-Oriented: You notice when a shelf is getting thin or a price tag is missing.
- Reliable: You show up on time and ready to work—our community relies on us being open and ready!
