POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Mid-Main Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of family physicians and allied health professionals in the provision of primary health care services, working independently to the full scope of your practice. Our team includes 7 part-time General Practitioners, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Registered Nurses. Our clinic has an integrated pharmacy that works closely with our team.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the team in the areas of:
- primary care
- chronic disease prevention, and management
- lifestyle counselling
- basic mental health and addictions
- geriatrics
- women’s health
- child and adolescent health
The successful candidate will work three to five days/week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and relevant, clinical experience in a community clinic setting, is preferred.
- A strong interest in working with family physicians, and other allied health professionals.
- Experience with OSCAR (EMR) is an asset

Mid-Main Community Health Centre is a non-profit Community Health Centre established in 1988. We provide both medical and dental care to residents of Vancouver.
