Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Class 5 Driving Instructor to join our team. We service Okotoks, High River, Diamond Valley, and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive driving instruction to aspiring drivers, ensuring they develop safe and confident driving skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for teaching others. Responsibilities
- Alberta Class 5 Driving Instructor license issued by Alberta Transportation
- Previous experience in driver education or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Criminal Record and vulnerability checks
- Conduct driving lessons for students preparing for their Class 5 license, focusing on safe driving practices and traffic laws
- Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to enhance student performance
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student progress
- Ensure all training activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Stay updated on current traffic laws and best practices in driver educationExperience
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and build rapport with students

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
