Overview:
We are growing our team and looking to add a part-time Driver/Production Assistant to our team. This position is Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday from 8am to 4pm and will involve making deliveries to wholesale customers (in the Fuge van) and assisting with all aspects of sausage production and packaging. Foodservice or food manufacturing experience is definitely as asset but not required.

Our products can be found a many local restaurants, on the shelves at the Italian Centre Shop, Acme Meat Market, and you can find us at the Old Strathcona Farmers Market along with other seasonal markets. We are meticulous about the quality and consistency of everything we produce at Fuge Sausage and are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team.
Duties:
- Deliveries to wholesale and foodservice customers.
- Preparing spice mixes, butchering meat
- Grinding, mixing, linking and packaging sausage
- Dishes and general cleaning
- Retail customer service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a food-handling environment is an asset, food safety certification is a plus!
- Drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
